Hello!I upgraded an older desktop PC (Lenovo ThinkCentre) from Windows XP to Windows 8.1 (x86) and everything works excellent.except one thing - an old wireless PCI card (it worked fine in Windows XP). It's driver got installed by the Windows 8.1 Update (there's no separate Windows 8.1 driver for it to be found anywhere else, only the XP driver is available).

The Vendor ID is com. At pcidatabase.com it lists the chipset as Atheros but does not list the chipset number. From On the madwifi-project wiki it lists the following.Wireless 11a/b/g PCI Adapter (3CRDAG675) Chipset: AR5212(802.11a/b/g) URL: Interface: PCI Antenna Connector: Permanently attached antenna Device Information: 10b7:0013 Notes: Discontinued, replaced by 3CRDAG675BBut from it lists the chipset as AR5112AHere are the photos I found at the FCC database. I cannot see the Atheros chipset number in the photo. You may be able to remove the metal cover and get the actual chipset number but ground yourself first.

I think it is going to be difficult finding drivers for this card but it would best if you can confirm the chipset number under the metal plate.Edited by JohnC21, 25 September 2014 - 04:31 PM.
