And it kept bothering me about keeping the disc in to play it and it made painful disc spinning sounds every time I started the computer. Then I remembered why it had been on the shelf for so long, and I went back to the cracked exe.I find steam an all around bother to use. I can just hit play without it and I don't have to worry about having Internet, or steam having troubles with obse, or authentication. (And if I need to reinstall I don't have to hog the Internet, I can just pop the discs back in.)It also creeps me out when someone somewhere has my personal information, and there are numerous tales of people buying games they never play because they're so cheap on steam.(I also have a personal vendetta against steam from when I bought disc skyrim and, while the data was all on the discs, it demanded I download from steam. Alas, I did not have Internet at this period in my life, and I could not return the discs at the store.
