Then there are times I'm in the process of making a word and it goes to an ad. I have another similar game I like playing much better. And your word lights up if its an acceptable word rather than wait till you hit play to find out its not acceptable. At least it's not as bad as Words With Friends where you make a word, see an ad and then have to wait almost 2 minutes for the computer to make a word. You could literally fall asleep playing. A lot of improvement needed. Things I hate:.

The controls overlaying the ad bar at the bottom. I am thinking that's just there so that users accidentally click ads.

Absolutely horrible. Is that's intentional, whoever thought of that is a terrible person. The app shouldn't go full screen, or the navigation buttons should NOT overlay the ad banner.

Facebook connectivity is horrible. I keep having to log out to see the number of connected friends and start a new game with one.

The dictionary should not clear out the previously searched word. You mostly will be trying something similar to the last word searched.

The graphics are good and the in game experience pretty okay except for the dictionary. I love Scrabble. Please fix these things! Terrible app from a worthless company. Android has been the neglected platform for this game since the start (note the copy/pasted reference to 'Retina Display' in the Android app's description!) - the app crashes all the time, there is no paid version, sometimes the board won't even display all the tiles.

Save yourself the aggravation and don't install this - just play Words with Friends or Word Chums. Update: I tried EA's troubleshooting guide. Now it 'only' crashes about once every 10 times I play.

Some of their ads lock up the app so that you have to swipe it out of memory or force-stop it (which prevents you from accessing the teacher feature). Other ads play movies with very loud sound. Sure would be nice to have that ad-free version they've been talking about for years.and years.and years.
