As far as I'm concerned, if you're not able to hear the dings once you would 'theoretically' have the 'correct' Default, the issues break down into either user error or hardware. It might be that your headset's blown or the volume isn't correct during the correct default.Try-Playing with the volume wheels while Testing defaults, Both, Simultaneously to see if you're able to find audio.
